- • The Finance Expert - Structured Finance role at xAI Corporation is pivotal in advancing the company’s mission to build AI systems that understand the universe by providing domain-specific expertise in structured finance to train and refine cutting-edge models. This role bridges deep financial knowledge with AI innovation, ensuring that xAI’s systems can accurately interpret complex financial instruments and real-world credit dynamics.
- • You will play a direct role in enhancing AI model performance by curating high-quality, annotated data from intricate structured finance domains, directly impacting the reliability and applicability of xAI’s AI in financial analysis, risk assessment, and investment decision-making.
- • Day to day, you will utilize proprietary software to label and input data for structured finance projects, ensuring precision and relevance for AI training.
- • You will deliver curated datasets covering securitization structures (ABS, CMBS, MBS, CLOs, CDOs), syndicated and leveraged loans, and project finance, focusing on deal structuring, credit enhancement, cash flow waterfalls, tranche valuation, collateral performance, and transaction documentation.
- • You will collaborate closely with engineering and AI teams to refine annotation workflows, improve tooling, and support the development of new AI tasks tailored to financial use cases.
- • You will assist in designing and optimizing annotation tools specifically for structured finance data, enhancing efficiency and scalability of data preparation processes.
- • You will select and analyze complex structured finance problems aligned with your expertise to drive improvements in model accuracy and generalization.

🎯 Requirements
- • Professional experience in structured finance or related fields such as investment banking, structuring, credit risk management, rating agency analysis, structured credit trading, ABS/CMBS/MBS/CLO portfolio management, or surveillance/operations analysis.
- • Proficiency in reading and writing professional English, with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- • Excellent reading comprehension and the ability to exercise sound autonomous judgment even when working with limited or ambiguous data.
