Finance Intern

📋 Description

• • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making
• • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes by gathering, validating, and organizing financial data
• • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that inform business performance
• • Build and maintain financial models and reporting dashboards using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas
• • Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Accounting, and Business Operations to collect and validate financial inputs
• • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis in response to leadership requests and business initiatives
• • Assist in improving the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes and documentation
• • Work in a remote environment aligned with eHealth’s virtual work model with no travel expectations
• • Report directly to the Director, FP&A and collaborate closely with Finance and Accounting teams
• • Contribute to a culture grounded in integrity, accountability, financial stewardship, and customer centricity
• • Engage in hands-on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities within a fast-paced corporate environment
• • Utilize Excel as the primary tool for data analysis, modeling, and reporting
• • Support the development of financial insights that drive operational improvements and business outcomes
• • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial deliverables
• • Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, remote work setting
• • Apply foundational knowledge of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) to real-world analysis
• • Contribute to a team committed to innovation, quality, and relentless improvement in financial processes
