📋 Description

• • Be Altura’s first full-time Finance hire and architect of our internal Finance function as we rocket beyond Series A. You will sit at the epicentre of a venture-backed AI SaaS scale-up, translating big-picture strategy into rock-solid financial plans, forecasts, and controls that power every team decision.
• • Own the entire financial operations stack: manage accounts payable and receivable, steer daily cash-flow and liquidity decisions, and ensure every euro is tracked, timed, and optimised. You will evolve from hands-on execution to building a lean, world-class Finance team.
• • Lead monthly closes end-to-end, partnering with external accountants on VAT, payroll, and statutory filings for the Netherlands and, soon, the UK. You will champion bullet-proof revenue recognition in a SaaS environment and guarantee our books are always investor-ready.
• • Build and maintain dynamic financial models in Excel/Google Sheets for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning. Translate complex data into crisp narratives for the leadership team and board, spotlighting risks before they become roadblocks and opportunities before competitors see them.
• • Design and implement scalable processes, cost-centre structures, and automated dashboards that give every department real-time insight into spend and performance. Your frameworks will become the gold standard as we double headcount and expand across Europe.
• • Craft and enforce procurement, travel, reimbursement, and approval policies that keep us agile yet compliant. You will be the guardian of internal controls, ensuring we meet Dutch and UK regulations without slowing innovation.
• • Partner with our fractional CFO to prepare investor reporting packs, board decks, and KPI deep-dives. Your analyses will directly influence fundraising strategy, pricing decisions, and go-to-market investments.
• • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to embed SaaS metrics—ARR, churn, CAC, LTV—into daily decision-making. You will translate financial insight into actionable tactics that accelerate growth.
• • Experiment and iterate: pilot new FP&A tools, test zero-based budgeting cycles, or launch rolling forecasts. We reward calculated risk-taking and treat every experiment as a learning opportunity.
