- • As a Finance SAP Program Manager at Technitask LLC, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, large-scale SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programs for public sector and regulated enterprise clients, ensuring alignment with financial controls, audit requirements, and business outcomes while driving measurable value across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes.
- • You will serve as the central point of accountability for program governance, integrating multiple workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders—including Finance leadership, SAP functional/technical teams, system integrators, and compliance officers—to ensure timely, on-budget delivery that adheres to SAP best practices and public sector regulatory standards.
- • Technitask is a trusted Canadian IT services provider with 17+ years of SAP expertise, serving clients like Hydro One, Liberty Utilities, the Government of Canada, and the Province of Ontario; you’ll join a collaborative team of 50+ professionals dedicated to delivering mission-critical enterprise solutions in utilities, telecommunications, and public services.
- • You will deepen your expertise in SAP Activate methodology, Finance solution architecture, and enterprise program management while leading high-impact transformations that modernize financial operations, improve reporting accuracy, and strengthen compliance posture for national and provincial organizations.
- • You will develop advanced stakeholder management and facilitation skills by leading fit-to-standard workshops, design decision forums, and executive governance meetings, translating complex technical and financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for CFOs, controllers, and audit committees.
- • You will gain hands-on experience managing multi-vendor ecosystems—including system integrators, AMS providers, testing partners, and niche solution vendors—while coordinating internal SMEs and technical teams to ensure seamless integration across finance, logistics, and reporting domains.
- • You will strengthen your ability to assess and mitigate risks to financial controls, close processes, and reporting structures, ensuring that SAP configurations support auditability, traceability, and compliance with public sector accounting standards and internal governance frameworks.
- • You will contribute to Technitask’s mission of building inclusive, innovative solutions by bringing your unique perspective to a team that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and actively encourages applications from Indigenous peoples, racialized individuals, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ2S+ communities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing IT projects, with at least three (3) years leading large, multi-workstream ERP/SAP programs, specifically in Finance-focused transformations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Finance).
- • Proven experience delivering Finance process transformation (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash) and ensuring alignment with financial controls, auditability, and reporting requirements in public sector or similarly regulated environments.
- • Demonstrated expertise in SAP Activate methodology, including fit-to-standard workshops, design governance, release management, cutover planning, and hypercare/stabilization, with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) and related modules such as Asset Accounting, Treasury, and Group Reporting.
- • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including ability to communicate effectively with Finance leadership, audit/compliance teams, and technical delivery teams, and to prepare executive-ready status reports, decision papers, and program updates.
- • Experience managing large system integration vendors and coordinating internal business SMEs, technical teams, and third parties, including managing multiple vendors concurrently (e.g., SI, AMS/support, testing, niche solution providers).
- • Solid understanding of SAP Finance solution architecture, integration patterns, and data concepts (master data, chart of accounts, cost objects, reporting structures), and ability to evaluate impacts to Finance controls, close processes, and reporting.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to lead high-impact SAP Finance transformation programs for prestigious public sector clients including Hydro One, Liberty Utilities, Government of Canada, and Province of Ontario.
- • Fully remote work arrangement with preference for onsite collaboration in Winnipeg, offering flexibility without compromising team engagement or client access.
- • 24-month contract role providing stability and deep engagement in a long-term, strategic enterprise transformation initiative.
- • Access to a collaborative team of 50+ SAP experts and a network of 200+ alumni with 17+ years of collective SAP delivery experience across utilities, telecom, and public services.
- • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion—Technitask actively encourages applications from Indigenous peoples, racialized people, people with disabilities, and gender/sexually diverse communities.
