- • As a Finance Transformation Domain Architect at Sysco Corporation, you will be the pivotal subject matter expert responsible for the design, development, and successful delivery of assigned financial domains. This role is critical in shaping the future of Sysco's financial systems, ensuring they are robust, compliant, and aligned with overarching business strategies.
- • You will provide essential consultation, insightful recommendations, and strategic guidance on the Cora and SUS financial system processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding solutions from their initial conceptualization through to their final delivery, ensuring a seamless transition into production environments.
- • A key responsibility involves identifying and addressing any gaps in current processes or functionalities. This includes meticulously planning and executing standardization initiatives, as well as conducting thorough integration testing and validation of processes and functionality before they are rolled out to end-users.
- • You will be the guardian of compliance, ensuring that all designs and developments strictly adhere to government standards, including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations, thereby safeguarding the company's financial integrity.
- • In the realm of Business Strategy, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to assess and establish robust business financial processes and standards for your designated financial domain. This involves translating complex business strategies and requirements into actionable, implementable solutions that meet the needs of Corporate, SBS, and OpCo end-users.
- • You will be responsible for proving the feasibility of proposed designs and processes, ensuring they can be effectively implemented and supported within the production environment.
- • Throughout various phases of process development, you will actively participate in design session reviews, ensuring that all proposed solutions align with established business standards and critical financial government standards.
- • Your role will involve leading sprints, driving the agile development process, and ensuring timely progress towards project milestones.
- • You will maintain comprehensive and up-to-date process documentation for end-to-end financial system processes, serving as a central repository of knowledge.
- • Furthermore, you will define and enforce financial standards, procedures, metrics, and policies, working under the guidance of leadership to ensure consistency and best practices across all business units.
- • In terms of Support and Training, you will provide crucial coaching and training to key internal and external business stakeholders, empowering them to effectively utilize new systems and processes.
- • You will serve as the technical owner and primary point of contact for domain-specific solutions, addressing technical queries and challenges.
- • Your involvement will extend to assisting with transition readiness and go-live activities, ensuring a smooth deployment of new service delivery models.
- • Post-go-live, you will provide essential support during the stabilization period, addressing any immediate business needs and ensuring operational continuity.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong ability to influence stakeholders, and a commitment to achieving results through collaboration and effective decision-making.
- • You will leverage your expertise to interpret and apply a variety of policies, procedures, and precedents to resolve diverse issues and make sound judgments.
- • The ability to monitor and control schedules and project progress is essential for successful project execution.
- • Collaboration across functions within Sysco and with Global Process Owners (GPOs) is paramount to ensure alignment and successful integration of financial transformations.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and specialized accounting/finance software, including ERP systems like Workday, is expected.
