- • The Financial Aid Quality Assurance Specialist ensures compliance with federal and institutional regulations by conducting internal reviews of Title IV, Veterans Funding, and student advising processes, playing a critical role in maintaining audit readiness and institutional integrity.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring internal controls, performing comprehensive audits, identifying error trends, preparing compliance memos, supporting annual and interim audits, and serving as a subject matter expert on financial aid regulations and university processes.
- • The role is part of Nus Pte. Ltd.’s compliance team, which supports National University’s mission to serve over 45,000 students through accurate, ethical, and transparent financial aid operations in a remote, technology-driven environment.
- • The specialist will develop expertise in federal financial aid compliance, regulatory interpretation, audit preparation, and process improvement, while contributing to a culture of excellence, confidentiality, and continuous learning in higher education administration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience
- • Minimum of three to five years of experience in financial aid, advising, training, or auditing
- • Three years’ experience administering financial aid for non-term programs required
- • Two years of R2T4 identification and calculation experience desired
- • Current knowledge of federal financial aid programs and regulations (Title IV, VA, etc.) required
- • Experience with data processing and automated records systems (e.g., ED Express, PeopleSoft, Anthology) preferred
