- • The Financial Analyst III at CareSource Management Group Company plays a critical role in driving financial insight and strategic decision-making by analyzing utilization, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to forecast future performance and support organizational goals. This role is essential for ensuring financial accuracy, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the development, production, and validation of reports from detailed claims, eligibility, pharmacy, and clinical data; compiling and analyzing financial and clinical information to evaluate medical contracts and product lines; developing membership projections, medical expense forecasts, and budgets while monitoring monthly variances to identify trends; ensuring data integrity by reconciling internal datasets with state-provided information such as enrollment files and reimbursement records; proactively identifying trends using departmental reports, databases, and data mining techniques; evaluating and improving internal analysis processes to align with organizational goals; supporting the financial control environment through compliance with MAR, regulatory, and organizational requirements; developing competitive analyses and presenting findings to senior management; and performing other duties as assigned.

- • In this role, the Financial Analyst III will deepen expertise in healthcare finance, financial modeling, and data analysis while gaining exposure to complex healthcare reimbursement systems, regulatory environments, and strategic planning processes. The position offers opportunities to lead analytical projects, mentor junior analysts, influence cross-functional decisions, and build a strong foundation for advancement into senior finance or analytics leadership roles within the organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in accounting, finance, economics, computer sciences, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in finance, accounting, or a professional role focused on data manipulation and analysis
- • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SQL and/or SAS, and expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel
