📋 Description
- • Financial Analyst – Music Catalog Valuation & Investment Analysis is a pivotal role at Global Talent Co., supporting the valuation and strategic sale of music rights catalogs by analyzing complex revenue streams and building financial models that inform high-stakes transactions for artists, songwriters, and rights holders worldwide.
- • The role ensures accurate financial analysis and modeling to maximize the value of intellectual property assets, directly impacting the financial outcomes of private, curated transactions in the global music industry.
- • Day to day, the analyst will analyze revenue streams across music catalogs including streaming, publishing, masters, and sync; build and maintain financial models to forecast earnings and valuation scenarios; evaluate performance trends across catalogs and revenue sources; and support valuation analysis and financial projections for advisory engagements.
- • They will prepare financial materials for catalog transactions, support investor presentations and transaction summaries, organize financial data for due diligence processes, and review and assess transaction terms and financial proposals to ensure alignment with client objectives.
- • The analyst will consolidate financial data across multiple sources and entities, prepare reports and summaries for internal decision-making, support the development of dashboards and structured analyses, and ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting across all deliverables.
- • They will review royalty statements and financial reports, organize data rooms for ongoing and upcoming transactions, and track historical performance and revenue data to maintain audit-ready documentation and support transaction readiness.
- • Working within a premium sell-side advisory firm, the analyst joins a team dedicated to helping artists, songwriters, producers, publishers, and rights holders globally maximize the value of their intellectual property through expert advisory services.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, investment analysis, or corporate finance
- • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- • Experience analyzing financial statements and revenue projections
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- • Experience in media, entertainment, music, intellectual property, or royalty-based revenue models (Nice to Have)
- • Familiarity with catalog valuation or asset-based financial analysis (Nice to Have)
- • Experience supporting transaction processes or investment analysis (Nice to Have)
