- • As a Financial Analyst at Availity, you will play a critical supporting role within the Finance team, directly contributing to the financial health and strategic decision-making of the Product organization by assisting with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and financial modeling—ensuring leadership has accurate, timely insights to drive business performance in a high-impact healthcare technology environment.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting the monthly reporting cycle through actuals vs. budget comparisons, forecast updates, and variance analysis; assisting in preparing financial summaries and presentations for internal stakeholders; analyzing trends in expenses, headcount, and key financial metrics; maintaining and updating financial models for accuracy and consistency; contributing to budgeting and forecasting activities via data gathering and baseline updates; preparing ad-hoc reports and analysis for business partners and leadership; supporting pricing analysis and basic financial modeling under senior guidance; and collaborating with the Finance team on special projects and process improvements.

- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) within a fast-growing SaaS environment, strengthen your ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights, gain exposure to enterprise financial systems like Workday and Adaptive Planning, and build cross-functional collaboration skills—positioning you for advancement into senior finance or business partner roles within Availity’s development-focused Finance team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
- • 2+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, or a related field
- • Strong Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, modeling basics, and charts/graphs
- • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- • Experience creating presentations and summarizing insights in PowerPoint
- • Familiarity with financial systems such as Workday, Adaptive Planning, or similar tools
