📋 Description

• • Own the full customer due-diligence lifecycle for one of Europe’s fastest-growing stablecoin networks. You will gather KYC packs, verify identity documents, screen against sanctions & adverse-media lists, assign dynamic risk scores, and document every step so that regulators in Italy, the EU, and the UAE can audit with confidence.
• • Translate dense AMLD5/6 text and forthcoming EU MiCA provisions into living, breathing SOPs. You will map each regulatory clause to a concrete control, write test scripts for Engineering, and update the risk taxonomy so that Product can ship new features without compliance surprises.
• • Make high-stakes CDD decisions every day. You will weigh customer risk profiles, spot layering typologies, decide when to escalate to EDD, and draft crisp, evidence-backed rationales that satisfy both our MLRO and external supervisors.
• • Keep the customer file alive. You will schedule periodic reviews, refresh UBO declarations, re-score when transaction patterns shift, and trigger enhanced monitoring for stablecoin wallets that suddenly interact with high-risk DeFi protocols.
• • Detect and investigate suspicious activity in real time. You will triage blockchain-derived alerts, enrich them with OSINT and open-source blockchain analytics, decide whether to clear, file, or escalate, and prepare STRs/UTRs that stand up to Bank of Italy and UIF scrutiny.
• • Shape the next generation of compliance tooling. You will sit with Product and Engineering to design automation rules, data schemas, and API endpoints that cut manual review time without diluting quality—think auto-EDD triggers, graph-based risk propagation, and dynamic threshold tuning.
• • Prepare for regulatory exams like a pro. You will maintain an audit-ready evidence locker, produce sample CDD files on demand, and brief executives so that every question from Banca d’Italia or the ECB receives a clear, documented answer.
• • Build a culture of compliance across the company. You will run brown-bag sessions for GTM on red-flag identification, coach Ops on document standards, and champion a “compliance-by-design” mindset so that risk is managed before it becomes a ticket.
• • Stay ahead of the curve. You will monitor FATF guidance, EU delegated acts, and emerging typologies in crypto mixers, privacy coins, and cross-border stablecoin flows, then translate that intel into updated risk indicators and training material.
• • Work with urgency and ownership in a remote-first, high-trust environment. You will prioritise the riskiest cases first, unblock teammates with clear guidance, and maintain meticulous documentation so that anyone can pick up your work at 3 a.m. if needed.
