Financial Reporting & Tax Director (LATAM)

📋 Description

• • The Financial Reporting & Tax Director (LATAM) will play a key leadership role within the Finance organization, responsible for driving excellence in financial reporting, tax compliance, strategic global expansion, equity administration, and internal control framework development.
• • Day to day, the role involves supporting the preparation and review of statutory financials across Latin American and other international jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate consolidated financial statements under GAAP and IFRS, providing guidance on complex accounting matters such as revenue recognition and equity compensation, and coordinating external audit readiness.
• • The role also includes overseeing tax filings with external advisors, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing and inter-company transaction requirements, identifying tax optimization opportunities, leading financial due diligence for new country entries, partnering with Legal, HR, and Operations on entity structuring, assisting with equity plan administration using Shareworks, maintaining cap tables, calculating equity accounting entries, managing 409A valuation providers, and establishing a scalable internal control framework with documented policies and procedures.
