- • As a Financial Services Faculty member, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of financial professionals by delivering engaging, high-quality virtual instruction that prepares students for industry certification and real-world success. Your expertise will directly impact student outcomes and uphold the reputation of Kaplan as a trusted leader in financial education.
- • You will deliver live, virtual instruction using pre-developed lesson plans and syllabi, ensuring consistent, accurate, and up-to-date content delivery across financial services domains such as securities licensing, insurance, and continuing education. Your teaching will be student-centered, adapting to diverse learning styles while maintaining academic rigor and engagement.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing for and conducting virtual classes via Zoom or MS Teams, utilizing digital whiteboards and LMS platforms to enhance interactivity, providing timely feedback to students, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and participation.
- • You will serve as a Kaplan brand ambassador, representing the organization with professionalism and enthusiasm, while mentoring students through personalized guidance and support to help them overcome learning challenges and achieve certification goals.
- • Regular communication with product line management and operations teams is essential to stay informed of curriculum updates, scheduling changes, and class assignments, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and student needs.
- • You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by adapting teaching methods based on student feedback, emerging industry trends, and updates to regulatory requirements or exam content.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of direct experience in the financial services industry, with practical knowledge of products, regulations, and client-facing roles.
- • Working knowledge of, or successful passage of, one or more of the following securities exams: SIE, Series 6, 7, 63, 65, 66, 24, or 26; FINRA Principal experience is a strong plus.
- • Proficiency in at least one of the following areas: Life and Health Licensing, Property and Casualty Licensing, Insurance Continuing Education, Securities Qualification Exams (Registered Representative or Principal level).
- • Demonstrated ability to use virtual classroom tools including Zoom, MS Teams, digital whiteboards, and LMS platforms effectively for instruction and student engagement.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and adapt teaching style to diverse learner needs.
- • Strong time management, organizational skills, and reliability, including consistent availability during daytime weekday hours and a stable, wired internet connection preferred.
