Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the front-end of the talent funnel for Magellan’s Personal Financial Counseling practice, building robust pipelines of CFP®, AFC®, and CHFC® professionals who can deliver life-changing guidance to military members, veterans, and families nationwide. You will map the market, surface passive talent, and convert curiosity into commitment through data-driven storytelling and authentic career coaching.
- • Act as a Digital Citizen and CRM Super-User, leveraging our Candidate Relationship Management platform to automate nurture campaigns, trigger personalized touchpoints, and maintain evergreen talent pools. You will configure workflows, A/B-test messaging, and mine analytics dashboards to cut time-to-submission by 30 % while elevating candidate Net Promoter Scores.
- • Serve as Magellan’s brand ambassador, translating our mission—“leading humanity to healthy, vibrant lives”—into every email, InMail, and career-fair conversation. You will craft employer-brand content, film 60-second day-in-the-life reels, and syndicate posts across LinkedIn, AFCPE communities, and CFP® Board forums to ensure high-caliber prospects see Magellan as the employer of choice.
- • Partner with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and the VP of Financial Wellness to forecast demand, design role-specific sourcing strategies, and influence head-count decisions with real-time labor-market intelligence. You will present quarterly “Talent Heat-Maps” that reveal supply concentrations, compensation gaps, and diversity opportunities across CONUS and OCONUS markets.
- • Employ Design-Thinking to personalize outreach: segment candidates by motivator (purpose, flexibility, loan-forgiveness, or continuing-education), then tailor value propositions accordingly. You will pilot SMS drip campaigns for on-base spouses, host virtual lunch-and-learns for separating service members, and build referral trees inside military-transition Facebook groups.
- • Function as a Career Coach during exploratory calls, aligning Magellan’s mission with each candidate’s long-term vision—whether that is achieving AFC® certification, logging 3,000 pro-bono hours, or building a portable practice that travels with PCS orders. You will negotiate win-win scenarios around salary, sign-on bonuses, and remote-work arrangements while maintaining pay-equity guardrails.
- • Make evidence-based decisions by tracking funnel metrics (passive-to-active conversion, response rates, interview yield) and feeding insights back to leadership. You will build Tableau dashboards that correlate sourcing channel spend to hire quality, enabling continuous re-allocation of budget toward highest-ROI tactics.
- • Manage high-volume requisitions—often 25–30 concurrent openings—across multiple security-clearance tiers and state licensing requirements. You will juggle shifting priorities, such as surge hiring before fiscal-year-end or rapid ramp-ups tied to new DoD contracts, without compromising white-glove candidate experience.
- • Represent Magellan at virtual and on-site career fairs (e.g., Hiring Our Heroes, AFCPE Symposium), delivering 30-second elevator pitches and collecting opt-in leads for immediate nurture. You will coordinate logistics, collateral, and follow-up sequences to convert booth traffic into onsite interviews within five business days.
- • Champion compliance and security by verifying CFP® Board or AFC® certification status, confirming CE compliance, and ensuring every candidate completes e-QIP initiation prior to submission. You will partner with Security & Credentialing to maintain 100 % audit-ready documentation and uphold Magellan’s tobacco-free, equal-opportunity workplace standards.
- • Continuously upskill through Magellan’s learning ecosystem—Lynda licenses, SHRM webinars, CRM power-user forums—then share best practices during weekly sourcing huddles. You will pilot emerging tools (AI boolean builders, labor-market APIs) and scale successes across the broader Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence.
