- • Own the full-cycle recruiting engine for Bellota Labs, the startup behind ClubWPT Gold—the next-generation product from the World Poker Tour. You will be the single-threaded leader who builds the talent pipeline that powers our mission to revolutionize online gaming through innovation, game integrity, and world-class customer experiences.
- • Source, engage, and convert passive and active candidates across engineering, product, data science, design, and G&A functions. You will craft Boolean strings, run deep LinkedIn searches, mine GitHub, attend meet-ups, and leverage every creative channel imaginable to surface the 1 % of talent that can thrive in a fast-moving gaming startup.
- • Run rigorous, respectful, and lightning-fast interview processes: initial screens, technical assessments, culture-add conversations, and offer negotiations. You will schedule, coordinate, and shepherd each candidate from first hello to signed offer letter—while delivering a white-glove experience that turns prospects into lifelong advocates.
- • Partner directly with VPs and founders to translate product roadmaps into quarterly hiring plans. You will forecast headcount, map talent markets, build diversity sourcing strategies, and present weekly dashboards that show pipeline health, funnel conversion, and time-to-fill metrics.
- • Champion employer branding that positions Bellota Labs as the destination for builders who want to shape the future of poker and social casino gaming. You will ghost-write blog posts, host Twitch streams, and design referral campaigns that make our culture impossible to ignore.
- • Iterate on recruiting infrastructure: ATS workflows, interview kits, scorecards, and onboarding checklists. You will configure Lever, automate Slack reminders, and train hiring managers on structured interviewing so every decision is data-driven and bias-free.
- • Serve as the culture carrier who embodies our values of integrity, customer obsession, and bold innovation. You will mentor junior recruiters, host lunch-and-learns, and ensure every candidate—hired or not—leaves the process feeling respected and inspired.
- • Report to the Head of People and collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Marketing to ensure offers are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our DEI goals. You will track EEO data, run compensation analyses, and maintain an audit-ready hiring record.
- • Experiment with AI-powered sourcing tools and analytics platforms to surface insights on market availability, salary benchmarks, and competitor moves—while always keeping human judgment at the center of every decision.
- • Celebrate wins loudly: whether it’s a complex senior engineer signed in record time or a referral bonus paid out, you will broadcast success stories that fuel our internal momentum and external reputation.
