- • Own the full-cycle recruitment process for Trafigura’s Montevideo office and regional stakeholders, partnering with Hiring Managers across Metals & Minerals, Oil & Petroleum Products, and Gas, Power & Renewables to forecast talent needs, craft role profiles, and deliver best-in-class hires within tight market windows.
- • Source, screen, and engage high-caliber candidates through a blend of direct sourcing, market mapping, targeted advertising, and trusted agency relationships; maintain a living talent pipeline that anticipates both immediate requisitions and strategic workforce plans.
- • Champion a data-driven mindset—leverage ATS analytics, funnel metrics, and market intelligence to refine sourcing strategies, reduce time-to-hire, and improve quality-of-hire while ensuring every decision is traceable, auditable, and aligned with ESG and diversity objectives.
- • Act as brand ambassador for Trafigura in Uruguay and LATAM: design compelling employer-brand content, host university events, run hackathons, and nurture alumni networks to position the company as the destination for ambitious professionals who want to impact global supply chains.
- • Drive rigorous assessment processes that balance technical depth with cultural alignment; coordinate structured interviews, psychometric tests, case studies, and reference checks to guarantee that new joiners thrive in our fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative culture.
- • Provide white-glove onboarding for every new hire—prepare pre-start paperwork, coordinate orientation agendas, buddy programs, and 30-60-90-day check-ins to accelerate productivity and engagement from day one.
- • Partner with HR Operations to ensure seamless integration between recruitment and core HR services—validate job codes, salary bands, visa requirements, and benefits elections so that offers are compliant, competitive, and delivered without delay.
- • Serve as first-line HR advisor to employees on payroll, benefits, taxation, and policy queries; triage complex issues to specialists while maintaining a customer-service ethos that builds trust and confidence across the workforce.
- • Continuously improve recruitment infrastructure—audit requisition templates, update interview guides, refine scorecards, and automate repetitive tasks to create a scalable, repeatable, and legally compliant process.
- • Collaborate on ad-hoc HR projects such as engagement surveys, DEI initiatives, compensation benchmarking, and leadership development programs, contributing your analytical rigor and stakeholder management skills to elevate the entire people agenda.
