- • The Food Safety & Beverage Subject Matter Expert will review and validate compliance training content to ensure accuracy, regulatory alignment, and practical applicability for frontline workers and supervisors, directly supporting EasyLlama’s mission to build safer, more inclusive workplaces through innovative HR compliance training.
- • Day to day, the role involves reviewing course scripts, slides, and assessments for technical accuracy; identifying outdated or unclear content; flagging regulatory misinterpretations; recommending improvements to clarity and structure; validating learning objectives against requirements; ensuring appropriate terminology and tone; providing structured written feedback on timelines; responding to internal team queries; and conducting final pre-publication accuracy reviews.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in food safety regulations, influence high-impact compliance training used by thousands of employees, collaborate with instructional design and executive teams, and gain experience translating complex regulatory requirements into accessible learning for diverse frontline audiences.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong expertise in food safety regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., FDA, FSMA, or equivalent)
- • Working knowledge of food hygiene, safety practices, and training requirements across food production, agriculture, or hospitality environments
- • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in at least one of the following: food manufacturing/processing, fresh produce safety, animal food/feed safety, food defense/risk mitigation, or foodservice/beverage/alcohol compliance
- • Ability to assess training content for accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability
- • Experience working with frontline and/or supervisor-level training audiences
