  • • Sunrise Robotics is at the forefront of a revolution in manufacturing, dedicated to augmenting human capabilities and existing machinery with intelligent, flexible robotic solutions. Our mission is to elevate production quality, minimize waste, and reduce costs by ushering in a new era of manufacturing powered by advanced robotics and AI. We envision a future where intelligent automation is seamlessly integrated into every facet of manufacturing, from initial design to final assembly, making it economically viable and accessible for businesses of all sizes, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises.
  • • As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Sunrise Robotics, you will be a pivotal member of our team, operating at the critical intersection of product development and on-site customer deployment. This unique role is designed for individuals who are passionate about bringing cutting-edge robotic automation into real-world production environments. You will be instrumental in delivering our innovative automation solutions to customers, ensuring their successful integration and operation within live manufacturing settings. Your work will directly contribute to transforming bespoke integration projects into standardized, scalable, and efficient productized capabilities.
  • • A core aspect of your responsibility will be to bridge the gap between the practical challenges faced by our customers on the factory floor and the ongoing development of our robotic systems. You will translate real-world production constraints, operational feedback, and customer insights into structured, actionable input for our product and engineering teams. This continuous feedback loop is essential for refining our product offerings, improving our deployment workflows, and accelerating market adoption.
  • • You will actively identify opportunities to streamline and optimize our deployment processes, focusing on reducing non-recurring engineering efforts and enhancing the overall scalability of our solutions. This involves contributing to the refinement of Sunrise’s proprietary tools, established processes, and system architecture to ensure that deployments are repeatable, reliable, and efficient.
  • • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams, including AI researchers, robotics engineers, product managers, and commercial stakeholders. This cross-functional synergy is vital for aligning customer needs with product evolution and ensuring that our automation solutions effectively address the dynamic demands of the manufacturing industry.
  • • You will play a crucial role in supporting pilot launches and early-stage deployments. This involves meticulously ensuring that the deployed systems meet all defined performance metrics and operational success criteria. Your hands-on involvement will guarantee that our customers experience the full potential of Sunrise’s intelligent automation.
  • • Acting as a trusted technical partner to our customers during the integration phase is paramount. You will build strong relationships, foster confidence, and ensure that the automation solutions provide long-term value and success for their operations.
  • • Furthermore, you will provide essential technical support to customers, assisting them with troubleshooting and maintenance of the deployed robotic systems. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the ongoing reliability and optimal performance of our automation solutions.
  • • You will also be responsible for investigating and responding to operational incidents or anomalies that may arise in the deployed robotic systems. Your prompt and effective resolution of these issues will be key to maintaining system reliability and customer satisfaction. This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain deep insights into the practical application of advanced robotics and AI in manufacturing, directly shaping the future of industrial automation.
