Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • Brellium Inc. is on a mission to revolutionize the U.S. healthcare system by enhancing the standard of care through cutting-edge AI-powered technology. We are dedicated to empowering healthcare providers with tools that ensure safer, higher-quality patient outcomes, starting with our innovative real-time medical review platform designed to proactively identify and rectify clinical and compliance risks before they can impact patient well-being.
  • Annually, a significant portion of individuals in the U.S. encounter medical diagnostic or compliance-related errors. Many healthcare providers struggle with the time, resources, and technological support necessary to effectively mitigate these issues, leading to undetected problems that compromise care quality and escalate clinical and financial risks. Brellium addresses this critical gap by developing an AI-driven platform that assists providers in delivering safer, more consistent care through early risk mitigation and alignment with established clinical best practices.
  • Our overarching goal is to equip every healthcare provider in the United States with the capabilities to deliver clinically excellent, data-informed care at a national scale. Founded in 2021, Brellium has experienced rapid growth, now serving over 250,000 providers across all 50 states. Our platform is instrumental in helping these providers enhance patient care and maintain data-driven, compliant operations. As a Series A company with over $30 million in funding from prominent investors like First Round Capital, Left Lane Capital, and Menlo Ventures, we are poised for significant expansion and impact.
  • We are seeking our inaugural Forward Deployed Engineer to spearhead technical delivery for our esteemed enterprise healthcare clients. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for our largest customers. Your responsibilities will encompass actively participating in client calls to gain a deep understanding of their requirements firsthand, meticulously building configurations, managing complex integrations, and delivering comprehensive technical solutions from inception to completion, without being constrained by product roadmap timelines.
  • This position offers a unique opportunity to operate at the nexus of Customer Success and Engineering. You will be intimately connected with our product, enabling you to influence its future direction based on the invaluable insights gathered from your interactions in the field. If you are driven by the prospect of directly contributing to the improvement of healthcare operations within some of the largest and most rapidly expanding organizations in the sector, this role is an exceptional fit for your career aspirations.
  • Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end technical delivery for enterprise accounts. This involves taking a customer's need and translating it into a fully realized technical solution, encompassing configuration, custom setup, and integration work, with no handoffs or delays. You will collaborate closely with the Customer Success team, joining client calls to directly gather requirements and translate complex business needs into actionable technical plans, adeptly answering engineering-related questions in real-time.
  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for tracking and driving ongoing technical workstreams for your assigned accounts, ensuring that delivery progresses smoothly without requiring constant follow-up from the CS team. You will have the autonomy to decide on the methods and timing for shipping solutions. This role acts as a crucial bridge between Customer Success and Engineering. By identifying recurring customer needs, you will provide essential feedback to the Product team, highlighting gaps and contributing to the continuous enhancement of the platform for all users.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software engineering, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code and design scalable systems applicable across multiple accounts. Comfort in customer-facing interactions and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are essential. A high degree of agency, proactive problem-solving skills, and the capacity to manage multiple accounts concurrently are paramount. Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment is highly valued, as is a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Bonus points include prior experience within the healthcare or healthtech industry, previous roles as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Account Manager, and familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and coordinating with customer IT departments. Experience with AI/ML-powered products or platforms, and prior work at a Series A-C startup, will also be considered advantageous.
  • This role offers a unique chance to make a tangible impact on healthcare delivery, working with a passionate team dedicated to improving patient outcomes. You will be instrumental in shaping the technical success of Brellium's most important clients, directly influencing product development and driving operational excellence within the healthcare ecosystem.
