📋 Description

• As a Forward Deployed Engineer at P1 AI Inc., you will serve as the technical lead for customer deployments of Archie, our AI engineer agent for the physical world, making key technical decisions on architecture, data integrations, and user experience to ensure successful integration into customer engineering workflows.
• Day to day, you will work with customers over the entire Archie product lifecycle—leading discovery sessions, translating engineering challenges into AI use cases, designing integrations with engineering data sources and tools, fine-tuning and evaluating AI systems in production, collaborating with engineering teams, and diagnosing and resolving critical issues in live deployments to drive durable improvements.
• You will join a mission-driven team building Archie, an AI agent designed to seamlessly integrate into existing engineering teams as a human-form-factor engineer, backed by top venture investors and AI luminaries, with the ultimate goal of building engineering ASI.
• In this role, you will learn to bridge cutting-edge AI systems with real-world physical engineering problems, gain deep experience in production AI deployment and customer-facing technical leadership, and contribute to novel AI systems that execute critical engineering tasks in secure enterprise environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience shipping data-driven or AI systems to production (Python experience strongly preferred)
• A physical engineering background (automotive, aerospace, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
• Can rapidly build integrations between disparate customer systems
• Comfortable working directly with customers and technical leaders
• Have integrated or extended AI systems (bonus for engineering or scientific domains)
• Delivered solutions in secure enterprise environments
• Handled live production troubleshooting and customer incident response
