- • Join Clarium as a Forward Deployed Engineer (Data) and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing healthcare operations through our cutting-edge AI-powered platform. Our mission is to empower hospitals with advanced technology, driving significant improvements in efficiency and operational excellence. In the current healthcare landscape, professionals are often overwhelmed by manual processes, an excess of administrative tasks, and the use of outdated, unintuitive tools. Clarium is actively transforming this reality by equipping healthcare providers with intelligent, AI-driven software designed for automated workflows and actionable insights. We envision a future where every hospital seamlessly utilizes our collaborative data platform to automate daily operational and administrative burdens, allowing their expert staff to focus solely on high-complexity issues that demand their unique skills and attention.
- • In this critical role, you will be the technical linchpin for customer data integrations, working directly with hospital systems and their suppliers. This position is tailor-made for a highly skilled, hands-on engineer who thrives on direct customer engagement, excels at navigating complex and often ambiguous systems, and takes full ownership of production data workflows from inception to completion. You will be instrumental in understanding customer environments, architecting and implementing reliable data ingestion and transformation pipelines, and ensuring these integrations are brought to production successfully.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to close collaboration with our talented data engineers and product managers. Together, you will refine and enhance customer data feeds that are the backbone of our end-user features. A key aspect of your role will be ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and production-readiness of all integrations. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of reusable connectors and internal tools, significantly accelerating and scaling the efficiency of future integration projects.
- • This role transcends conventional backend engineering. Success hinges on your ability to embrace ambiguity, adapt to unfamiliar technological landscapes, and engage effectively with customers. You will need to possess a strong sense of ownership over production systems, demonstrating a commitment to their stability and performance. If you are passionate about building robust, scalable systems while maintaining a close connection to the real-world problems they solve, this opportunity is an exceptional fit for your career aspirations.
- • You will be responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle of customer data integrations, from initial discovery and requirement gathering through to deployment and ongoing maintenance. This includes deep dives into customer data structures, identifying key data points, and mapping them to Clarium's platform requirements. You will design, build, and test robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and timely delivery.
- • A significant part of your work will involve troubleshooting and resolving complex data-related issues that arise during integration and in production. This requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing effective solutions. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our integration frameworks and tooling, making them more efficient, reliable, and easier to deploy for future clients.
- • You will act as a trusted technical advisor to our customers, building strong relationships and ensuring their data integration needs are met with precision and efficiency. This involves clearly communicating technical concepts, managing expectations, and providing timely updates on project progress. Your ability to translate customer business needs into technical solutions will be paramount.
- • The role demands a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data governance best practices, especially within the context of healthcare data. You will ensure that all integrations comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, maintaining the highest levels of data security and privacy.
- • You will actively participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and share your knowledge with the broader engineering team, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping the future direction of Clarium's data integration capabilities and platform architecture.
- • This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare technology innovation, directly impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare providers. You will work with a passionate, collaborative team dedicated to making a tangible difference in the healthcare industry.
