- • Deepgram is at the forefront of the burgeoning Voice AI economy, offering a leading platform that powers real-time speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and the creation of production-grade voice agents at scale. Our technology is the backbone for over 200,000 developers and more than 1,300 organizations, enabling them to build innovative voice solutions. Prominent companies like Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Decagon, Vapi, Daily, Cresta, Granola, and Jack in the Box rely on Deepgram to deliver exceptional voice experiences. Our voice-native foundation models are accessible via cloud APIs or as self-hosted and on-premises software, consistently delivering unparalleled accuracy, minimal latency, and cost-effectiveness. With a recent Series C funding round led by top global investors and strategic partners, Deepgram has processed an astounding 50,000+ years of audio and transcribed over 1 trillion words, solidifying our position as the world's foremost authority on voice technology.
- • At Deepgram, we embrace an AI-first operating rhythm. Proficiency and comfort with AI tools are not optional; they are fundamental to how we operate, innovate, and measure success. Every team member is expected to actively utilize and experiment with advanced AI tools, integrating them into their daily workflows and even building custom AI solutions to enhance productivity. We rigorously assess the effectiveness of AI application in achieving results, and consistent, creative adoption of the latest AI capabilities is paramount for success. Candidates must be adept at rapidly adopting new models and methodologies, seamlessly integrating AI into their work, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can accomplish.
- • We operate at the rapid pace of AI evolution. Expect your day-to-day responsibilities to change swiftly. This role is ideal for individuals who are excited by experimentation, adaptation, quick thinking, and continuous learning, rather than those seeking a highly prescriptive, traditional 9-to-5 environment.
- • This unique opportunity places you at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer systems, specifically within the dynamic restaurant industry. You will be responsible for deploying Deepgram’s advanced voice AI platform into complex restaurant environments, ensuring its seamless functionality in real-world scenarios. You will collaborate closely with customer leadership and technical stakeholders to bring ambitious deployments to fruition. This involves embedding yourself within enterprise restaurant brands and their technology partners, gaining a deep understanding of their existing systems, and integrating our platform into the core of their operations. Your responsibilities will span writing code, debugging production issues, and adapting the platform to overcome real-world constraints. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to both customer executives and engineering teams, ensuring swift deployments and the delivery of tangible business outcomes.
- • Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in translating real-world deployment experiences into valuable insights that enhance the entire platform. By identifying common patterns across diverse customers, you will directly influence product improvements and contribute to the development of essential tooling, robust reference architectures, and comprehensive playbooks. These assets will streamline future deployments, making them faster, more reliable, and easier to scale across extensive restaurant fleets and complex technology ecosystems.
- • The ultimate mission of this role is to guarantee that every enterprise deployment of Deepgram for Restaurants operates flawlessly, delivering measurable value from the outset. You will be the technical champion, ensuring a magical experience for our clients.
- • Key Responsibilities:
- • Customer Engineering Partnership: Act as a trusted technical peer, embedding deeply with customer engineering teams. Lead technical discovery sessions and develop tailored solutions for prospects and existing customers.
- • Technical Integration and Deployment: Take ownership of the complete technical implementation lifecycle of Deepgram’s voice AI platform for enterprise clients, from initial scoping and architectural design through successful go-live and ongoing optimization.
- • Configuration and Customization: Skillfully adapt and configure Deepgram’s platform to precisely meet each customer’s unique operational requirements, including menu structures, ordering workflows, Point of Sale (POS) integrations, and handling of edge cases.
- • Production Excellence: Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within live deployments. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical challenges when required.
- • Deployment Infrastructure Leadership: Systematically codify successful deployment patterns into reusable tools, comprehensive playbooks, robust reference architectures, and foundational building blocks that empower the broader team to execute future deployments efficiently.
- • Feedback Loop to Product and Engineering: Act as the crucial conduit translating real-world deployment challenges and insights into actionable requirements for Deepgram’s product and engineering teams, effectively becoming the voice of the customer within the organization.
- • Travel: Be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers, support sales engagements, and participate in critical onsite interactions, fostering strong client relationships and ensuring project success.
