- • As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Neara, you will serve as the technical expert for strategic enterprise customers, blending hands-on software development with technical consulting to design and build custom solutions on the Neara platform that unlock new capabilities, automate workflows, and drive maximum business value for power grid resilience initiatives.
- • You will actively use the Neara SDK and platform APIs to develop custom features in TypeScript/JavaScript, build integrations with external systems, create visualizations and data analysis tools, and tailor user interfaces to streamline complex customer workflows across global electricity grid infrastructure.
- • You will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating business needs into actionable technical designs, leading training workshops on SDK/API best practices, and collaborating with internal teams to identify strategic opportunities for account growth through custom development.
- • You will work directly with customer engineers and stakeholders to configure, report, and integrate data, ensuring the Neara platform aligns with each customer’s technical environment and strategic priorities while contributing real-world insights back into the product roadmap.

🎯 Requirements
- • Experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Forward-Deployed Engineer building and delivering custom technical solutions for enterprise-level SaaS, with direct customer engagement or consulting experience preferred.
- • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, and Python, along with fluency in modern development tools including Git, Node, npm, and command-line interfaces.
- • Proven ability to rapidly learn and apply proprietary SDKs and RESTful APIs (OpenAPI-compliant) to build robust, integrated solutions that extend platform functionality.
- • Skilled in data analysis, integration, and building tailored tools such as macros and data pipelines to deliver measurable customer value.
- • Exceptional communication skills to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, driving alignment and consensus.
