📋 Description

• **Join Glean as a Founding Member of the Forward Deployed Team:** This is a unique opportunity to operate with the autonomy and accountability of a founder, shaping the future of Glean's product offerings. You will be at the forefront of innovation, working directly with the C-suite of the world's most influential companies and Glean's executive team.
• **Drive 0-to-1 Product Creation:** Your primary responsibility will be identifying and building entirely new product surfaces. This involves moving beyond configuring existing solutions or optimizing within defined constraints. You will delve into the core business challenges faced by our strategic customers and architect novel products to address them, fundamentally redefining how employees work.
• **Lead Deep Opportunity Discovery:** Before any product is designed, you will immerse yourself in understanding the intricate business landscape of our clients. This means asking critical questions about structural inefficiencies, understanding executive-level concerns, and pinpointing areas of significant untapped value. You will develop a strong, data-driven point of view and rigorously test it with senior leadership.
• **Act as a Trusted C-suite Advisor:** You will cultivate deep trust and credibility with top executives at client organizations. Your role transcends that of a typical vendor; you will be seen as a strategic partner who deeply understands their business and can build solutions to drive tangible outcomes. You will define the product vision for Glean's integration within these organizations and be accountable for its successful implementation.
• **Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers:** You will work closely with a dedicated pod of forward-deployed engineers, moving rapidly from an ambiguous customer problem to a fully functional product in production. This collaborative environment fosters rapid iteration and ensures that innovative solutions are brought to life efficiently.
• **Scale Successful Innovations:** Once a new product surface proves successful and delivers value, your role will extend to making it repeatable and scalable. This includes contributing to the development of playbooks and sharing learnings to empower the broader Glean team to build upon your successes.
• **Shape Glean's Future:** The best of what you build will be integrated into Glean's core platform and shipped to every Glean customer globally. This means your work will have a broad and lasting impact on how organizations manage and access knowledge.

• **Develop Strategic Product Vision:** You will be instrumental in defining the strategic direction for new product initiatives, aligning them with both customer needs and Glean's overarching platform strategy. This requires a blend of technical understanding, business acumen, and forward-thinking product design.
• **Iterate and Refine:** The product development process will involve continuous iteration based on user feedback and performance metrics. You will be adept at analyzing data, gathering insights, and making informed decisions to refine and improve product surfaces.
• **Champion User Experience:** You possess a strong sense of product taste, ensuring that the solutions you build are not only technically sound but also intuitive and delightful for end-users. This user-centric approach is critical for driving adoption and maximizing the value of Glean's platform.
• **Navigate Ambiguity with Confidence:** This role thrives on tackling complex, undefined problems. You will be comfortable defining the problem space as often as you are solving it, finding energy and motivation in navigating ambiguity and charting new territory.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of 0-to-1 product creation, having built and shipped products from scratch that have been adopted and used by real people.
• Deep technical fluency, with the ability to shape product vision and architectures, collaborate effectively with engineers on building and implementation, and make credible design decisions. Experience shipping AI-powered solutions is essential.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to lead discovery with a clear point of view, quickly identify business opportunities, and connect them to product hypotheses.
• Demonstrated executive credibility, having built genuine trust with senior stakeholders by consistently delivering on commitments and providing valuable insights.
• Excellent product taste and a user-centric design approach, ensuring products are both functional and desirable.
• High degree of comfort with ambiguity, with the ability to define problems and drive solutions in undefined spaces.
