📋 Description

• Design and validate enterprise security architectures across cloud (Wiz, SCCE, Defender for Cloud), AI security (WitnessAI, ModelArmor, Purview), network (ExtraHop, CEP), endpoint (ENT.AI, Defender for Endpoint, Thinkst Canary), and identity (Defender for Identity) domains
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for the Security Engineering & Advisory (SE&A) team on complex customer environments and high-stakes advisory engagements
• Lead executive-level advisory engagements including board briefings, security roadmap presentations, business continuity/disaster recovery (BC/DR) reviews, and vendor risk assessments
• Partner with Field CISOs to build and maintain strategic security relationships with enterprise customers
• Identify reusable security patterns from customer engagements and contribute to the development of team-wide methodologies, playbooks, and best practices
• Support pre-sales technical conversations by scoping solutions, demonstrating capabilities, and aligning technical offerings with customer needs
• Mentor Security Solution Engineers to elevate team technical quality, foster growth, and ensure consistent delivery of high-standard security architectures
• Maintain deep hands-on expertise in cybersecurity domains while acting as a force multiplier for the SE&A team
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and product teams to integrate customer feedback into product and service improvements
• Operate in a fast-paced, high-performance startup environment focused on AI-native Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions
• Engage with customers across diverse industries to assess and enhance their cybersecurity posture using automation-first, AI-driven detection and response capabilities
• Contribute to the evolution of TENEX’s Forward Deployed Engineering organization as an early employee shaping how enterprise security is delivered at scale
• Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks including SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, and CMMC in all architecture designs and advisory engagements
• Represent TENEX as a trusted technical authority during customer interactions, demonstrating thought leadership in AI-native cybersecurity
• Travel may be required to meet with customers and participate in on-site advisory engagements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in information security with significant advisory or architecture experience
• Demonstrated expertise designing security architectures across one or more domains (cloud, AI, network, endpoint, identity)
• Experience leading executive-level advisory engagements including board briefings and security roadmap development
• Strong familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC)
• Proven mentorship and team leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
