📋 Description

• • As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer at GovWell, you will operate at the frontier of complex enterprise customer deployments, working directly with municipalities to unblock technical obstacles and ensure scalable solutions that strengthen the core platform.
• • You will diagnose and resolve technical and workflow blockers during high-stakes launches, partner with Sales and Deployment Strategy on late-stage deals, and translate bespoke customer requirements into reusable product capabilities while avoiding long-term technical debt.
• • You will travel to customer sites as needed to understand constraints firsthand, escalate durable product opportunities to core teams, and help shape roadmap decisions to maintain product coherence.
• • GovWell is building an AI-powered operating system to transform government services, replacing legacy software for municipalities and counties to streamline permits and licenses by up to 90%, serving 5,000+ mission-critical processes across 30+ states.
• • You will join a hyper-growth startup with 4X ARR growth in the last year, backed by $10M in seed funding, working in-person in NYC (3+ days/week) with exceptional autonomy and ownership over impactful work that improves public services for millions.
