📋 Description

  • As a Founder Associate at Clera, you will play a pivotal role in scaling a fast-growing AI-powered talent platform that connects exceptional candidates with elite startups, directly impacting the company’s mission to revolutionize the $600B global headhunting industry through talent-first innovation.
  • You will work intensively in a hackerhouse environment in San Francisco, living and collaborating closely with the founding team to drive rapid growth, own end-to-end workflows, and shape the future of talent acquisition in real time.
  • The team at Clera consists of A-players from Germany, Canada, Sweden, and beyond, united by a shared vision to automate and optimize recruiting for top AI and VC-backed startups like Mintlify, Luminai, and Windsurf, backed by a $3M pre-seed from leading US investors.
  • In this role, you will gain deep ownership over candidate experience and operational workflows, learning how to scale a high-velocity startup while contributing to meaningful outcomes for both talent and hiring companies at a pivotal pre-liftoff stage.
  • You will manage the end-to-end journey of hundreds of exceptional candidates daily, ensuring seamless engagement, personalized coaching, and successful matching with career-defining opportunities at leading AI startups.
  • You will partner closely with founders to design and execute growth initiatives, leveraging data and feedback loops to improve conversion, candidate satisfaction, and employer outcomes across the platform.
  • You will help refine and scale Clera’s talent-matching engine by gathering insights from candidate interactions, identifying patterns in successful placements, and feeding improvements into product and process design.
  • You will represent Clera professionally in candidate communications and employer engagements, embodying the brand’s mission of making elite opportunities accessible through a talent-first, human-centered approach.
  • You will thrive in a zero-commute, high-intensity environment where feedback is immediate, iteration is rapid, and team cohesion is strengthened by shared living and working spaces in a hackerhouse setting.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments with a track record of driving results without close supervision
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with candidates and represent the company professionally
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities to manage high-volume candidate workflows efficiently
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving mindset, with experience owning complex processes from start to finish
  • Willingness to relocate to San Francisco and live in a hackerhouse setting, embracing full-time immersion with the team
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., German, Swedish, French) are a plus given the international team background
