- • As the Founding Account Executive for the APAC region at ScorePlay, you will be instrumental in establishing and scaling our presence across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. This is a unique opportunity to be the first commercial hire in this critical growth market, leveraging ScorePlay's established success in Europe and North America to build a robust and repeatable business.
- • You will be a true full-cycle hunter, responsible for the entire sales process from initial outbound prospecting to closing complex enterprise deals. This involves identifying and prioritizing target markets, developing strategic territory plans, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- • Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth by consistently hitting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets, with a focus on securing six-figure Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) deals.
- • You will own the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation of commercial terms, managing procurement and legal processes, and ensuring a smooth handover to the Customer Success team.
- • A key aspect of this role in the early phase will be to actively participate in and oversee the early delivery and customer nurturing process. This means ensuring that your initial APAC customers are not only closed but are also successfully onboarded, happy with the platform, and actively expanding their usage, until a dedicated local Customer Success presence is established.
- • You will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-quality sales pipeline across the region. This will require a proactive and strong outbound and networking mindset, rather than solely relying on inbound leads.
- • Developing and nurturing executive-level relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers within sports organizations, leagues, federations, and media groups will be crucial for success.
- • You will act as the primary representative and face of ScorePlay in the APAC market, building credibility, fostering trust, and establishing a strong reputation for the brand through active engagement.
- • Representing ScorePlay at key industry events, conferences, and sports business gatherings across APAC will be an important part of your role in building brand awareness and generating leads.
- • You will collaborate closely with our global Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams based in Europe and the US, ensuring alignment and leveraging their expertise to support your efforts in APAC.
- • In partnership with the Customer Success teams, you will oversee the initial onboarding and activation for new APAC customers, ensuring a seamless transition and positive early experience.
- • You will serve as the main point of contact for your accounts post-sale, coordinating internally to address any questions, resolve issues, and ensure smooth platform adoption and ongoing engagement.
- • Building long-term, trusted relationships with clients will be essential for securing renewals, identifying upsell opportunities, and driving multi-entity expansions within organizations.
- • Your early successes will be vital in developing referenceable accounts and creating compelling case studies that showcase ScorePlay's value proposition in the APAC region.
- • You will play a critical role in adapting and refining ScorePlay's global go-to-market strategy for the unique realities of the APAC market, working cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams.
- • You will be responsible for capturing and relaying crucial market insights, including customer needs, workflows, competitive landscape, and pricing signals, to inform the product roadmap and future GTM strategies.
- • Collaborating with the Marketing team on targeted campaigns and outreach initiatives to identify and engage the most promising segments and geographies within APAC will be a key responsibility.
