As PushPress’s Founding Analytics Manager you will stand up our entire business-intelligence practice from a blank page, turning 500 M+ annual transaction records, 5 000+ gym profiles, and 500 000+ member touchpoints into the single source of truth that guides every strategic decision we make.
- • Own the full data value chain. You will partner with our data-engineering squad to define warehouse architecture, ETL pipelines, and governance standards, then surface clean, trustworthy data through self-service dashboards in Tableau/Looker that Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success can use without opening a ticket.
- • Translate raw numbers into board-level narrative. Each week you will distill complex cohort analyses, churn-propensity models, and LTV forecasts into crisp, story-driven briefs that our CEO, SVP of Finance & Operations, and investors rely on to approve new product bets, pricing experiments, and M&A opportunities.
- • Uncover hidden levers of growth. By mining behavioral patterns across our gym network you will pinpoint which onboarding steps predict 12-month retention, which pricing tiers maximize expansion ARR, and which seasonal trends studios can exploit to double revenue—then package these insights into playbooks our Customer Success team delivers at scale.
- • Build predictive engines that run the business. You will develop churn-alert models that trigger automated outreach 30 days before risk spikes, forecasting tools that predict cash collections within 2 % accuracy, and recommendation algorithms that suggest the next best action for every gym owner in our ecosystem.
- • Design for scale while staying scrappy. In the first six months you will personally write SQL, Python, and dbt code; by month twelve you will have documented repeatable processes, hired your first analyst, and established a center-of-excellence that turns ad-hoc questions into reusable data products.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation. You will institute A/B testing frameworks for in-app messaging, pricing pages, and email campaigns, ensuring every experiment is powered by rigorous statistical design and every result is socialized across squads so the entire company learns faster.
- • Influence the future of boutique fitness. Your analyses will reveal macro trends—like the rise of hybrid memberships or the ROI of wearable integrations—that shape our product roadmap and ultimately redefine how thousands of entrepreneurs run their studios.
- • Collaborate without silos. You will sit at the intersection of Engineering, Product, Finance, and Customer Success, running weekly “data office hours” to unblock stakeholders, evangelize best practices, and turn curiosity into measurable business impact.
- • Leave a legacy system. By the end of year one you will have delivered a governed semantic layer, a library of 50+ reusable Looker blocks, and a three-year analytics roadmap that positions PushPress as the data-mature leader in fitness SaaS.
