Founding Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Founding Engineer at BridgeHealthAI, you will play a pivotal role in eradicating health disparities by building software that empowers care teams serving underserved communities. Your work will directly impact healthcare delivery by automating high-friction administrative tasks, allowing providers to focus on patients rather than paperwork.
• • Day to day, you will own features from concept to production—scoping, prototyping, building, shipping, and iterating based on user feedback and metrics. You’ll design and implement thoughtful AI integrations using LLMs to reduce administrative burden, build and maintain full-stack features in TypeScript/React and Kotlin, write comprehensive tests that protect patient outcomes, and continuously improve the codebase to maintain velocity and reduce technical debt.
• • You’ll join a mission-driven, seed-stage company born out of Harvard and MIT, backed by Pear VC, Flare Capital, and Glen Tullman (founder of Livongo). BridgeHealthAI partners with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and community organizations to ensure equitable care access for the 30M+ patients served annually by the safety net. The team values close collaboration with product, clinical, and business stakeholders to translate real-world needs into technical solutions.
