📋 Description

• As a Founding Engineer at Tracebit Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling a cutting-edge security product that helps organizations detect cloud intrusions using decoy canaries, directly contributing to the company’s mission of making cloud environments safer.
• Day to day, you will work across the full stack—primarily in C# on .NET Core 10, with additional work in Terraform and HTMX for frontend development—collaborating closely with founders, engineering teammates, and customers to ship features daily, prioritize impact, and maintain high-quality, scalable systems with minimal bureaucracy.
• You will join a small, tight-knit team of 26 engineers that has grown rapidly from 5 in just 18 months, backed by a $20m Series A from top-tier investors including FirstMark and Accel, and trusted by innovative companies like Riot Games, Docker, and Snyk.
• In this role, you will have significant exposure to the CTO and Co-Founder, Sam, and Engineering Lead, Niall, enabling rapid skill growth in startup engineering, cloud security, AI-assisted development, and product-driven decision-making while enjoying the autonomy and impact of being an early team member in a high-growth environment.

🎯 Requirements

• At least a few years of experience shipping software at scale and/or criticality
• Experience working in a product-focused company and/or with at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core, with willingness to work across the stack including Terraform and HTMX
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment with a bias for action and customer impact
• Strong commitment to high-quality work and sound judgment in balancing pace vs. quality
