📋 Description

• As a Founding Engineer at MyRico, you will play a pivotal role in building the core AI infrastructure that powers innovative products from concept to production, directly contributing to the success of ventures incubated by Meraki Labs under the guidance of industry leaders like Mukesh Bansal and Peeyush Ranjan.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include driving end-to-end feature development from rough PRDs through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration; optimizing AI workflows for latency and cost using techniques like caching, batching, and streaming; implementing observability through traces, logs, metrics, and prompt/version tracking; and ensuring reliability and safety via guardrails, refusal behavior, and content policies.
• You will be part of Meraki Labs, a prestigious startup incubation centre founded by Mukesh Bansal (creator of Myntra, Curefit, Nurix AI), with engineering leadership from Peeyush Ranjan (ex-Google VP, Airbnb VP of Engineering, Flipkart CTO), providing access to world-class mentorship and a culture of building breakthrough technology ventures from the ground up.
• In this role, you will gain deep expertise in production-grade AI systems, mastering the practical application of LLMs in real-world products, strengthening your full-stack engineering skills in Python/Java/Node.js, and becoming proficient in MLOps practices including evals, tooling, retrieval, agents, and deployment — all while seeing your work ship quickly and impact real users.

🎯 Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of strong fundamentals in Python, Java, or Node.js, with experience using LLMs to generate code and ship features rapidly
• Comfort with building services using FastAPI or Flask, writing APIs, and debugging production issues
• Practical understanding of Docker, local development workflows, and basic deployment concepts
• Hands-on experience with at least one LLM framework such as OpenAI SDK, LangChain, Haystack, or a comparable alternative
• Understanding of the distinctions between prompting, tooling, retrieval, agents, and evaluations in LLM applications
• Familiarity with book/content metadata, EPUB/PDF parsing, or semantic search is a strong plus
