📋 Description

• As a Founding Engineer at Tracebit Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling a cutting-edge security product that helps organizations detect cloud intrusions using decoy canaries, directly contributing to the company’s rapid growth and market impact.
• Day to day, you will work across the full stack—primarily in C# on .NET Core 10, with Terraform for infrastructure and HTMX for frontend development—collaborating closely with founders, engineering teammates, and customers to deliver high-quality, production-ready features daily in a fast-paced, low-bureaucracy environment.
• You will join a tight-knit, ambitious team of 18 engineers in Central London, working alongside technical co-founders who have prior startup success, with direct exposure to the CTO and Engineering Lead, fostering rapid skill growth and ownership.
• In this role, you will accelerate your technical and product impact by solving real security challenges at scale, shaping architectural decisions, and growing alongside a startup poised to triple its team size, all while benefiting from mentorship and hands-on experience in a high-growth UK tech environment.

🎯 Requirements

• At least a few years of experience building software at scale and/or criticality
• Experience working with at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Background in a product-focused company environment
• Strong commitment to high-quality work with ability to balance pace vs. quality tradeoffs
• Enthusiasm for fast-paced, early-stage startup environments and delivering customer-facing results
