- • As a Founding Enterprise Account Executive for Europe, you will be at the forefront of Valdera's strategic expansion into the vibrant European market, with a primary focus on the critical industrial hubs within the DACH region. This is a unique opportunity to be a foundational member of our go-to-market (GTM) team, driving significant revenue growth and shaping the future of how manufacturers source materials.
- • You will be entrusted with owning the entire sales cycle, from meticulously identifying and prospecting high-value enterprise accounts to expertly navigating complex negotiations and closing substantial deals. Your mission is to bring Valdera's transformative material sourcing technology to some of the largest and most influential chemical and manufacturing enterprises across Europe.
- • This role demands a highly consultative and strategic approach. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior procurement leaders, supply chain executives, and innovation heads, delving deep into their existing operational inefficiencies and demonstrating how Valdera can revolutionize their sourcing strategies to enhance resilience, achieve significant cost savings, and accelerate speed-to-market.
- • Success in this position requires adeptness at navigating the intricate organizational structures of large enterprises. You will be responsible for building consensus and fostering strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, including Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs), Heads of Research & Development (R&D), Supply Chain Directors, and IT Digital Transformation leaders. Understanding their unique challenges and aligning Valdera's solutions to their strategic objectives will be paramount.
- • You will serve as the vital "boots on the ground" for Valdera's European presence. This involves actively gathering intelligence on regional market nuances, understanding specific regulatory requirements (such as REACH), and identifying evolving customer needs. This invaluable feedback will be crucial for informing our Product development roadmap and overall business strategy, ensuring Valdera remains at the cutting edge of industry demands.
- • Maintaining a rigorous and accurate sales pipeline is essential. You will be expected to meticulously manage your forecast, ensuring a consistent and predictable flow of new business opportunities. This requires a disciplined approach to CRM usage and a proactive strategy for lead generation and opportunity development.
- • Beyond executing sales, you will play a key role in refining and enhancing Valdera's sales playbook and processes. This includes contributing to the evolution of our strategies for lead generation, conducting effective discovery calls, crafting compelling follow-up messaging, mastering negotiation tactics, and optimizing closing techniques.
- • This is a high-impact role for an ambitious and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance startup environment. You will have the autonomy to build and shape processes, solve complex problems with high agency, and witness the direct impact of your contributions on Valdera's global success.
- • We are looking for someone with intellectual curiosity, a genuine desire to understand the intricacies of manufacturing and material science, and a builder's mentality who is excited by the prospect of establishing and growing a new market for Valdera. Your ability to think critically, adapt quickly, and drive initiatives forward will be key to your success and the success of our European expansion.
- • By joining Valdera as a Founding Enterprise Account Executive, you are not just taking a job; you are embarking on a career-defining journey. You will be part of a dynamic team composed of top talent from leading technology and industrial backgrounds, with unparalleled opportunities for rapid career acceleration and potential growth into sales leadership positions.
- • Your work will directly contribute to fixing and modernizing the physical supply chains that underpin global commerce, making a tangible difference in an industry ripe for innovation. If you are ready to take on meaningful challenges, collaborate with industry leaders, and shape the future of manufacturing, Valdera is the place for you.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of closing experience in enterprise sales (Global 2000), specifically managing multi-threaded deals with average contract values (ACV) requiring executive-level sign-off.
- • Native or professional fluency in English.
- • Business fluency in German is highly preferred to effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders in the DACH region.
- • A strong background in Management Consulting (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG) focused on operations/supply chain, combined with proven sales experience, is acceptable.
