We are seeking a visionary Founding Medical Director to spearhead the clinical strategy and execution of our groundbreaking platform. • As the Founding Medical Director, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing the clinical architecture that underpins Anomaly Health's mission. This involves creating robust assessment frameworks, defining comprehensive biomarker panels, and developing evidence-based care pathways tailored for longevity and proactive health. You will be responsible for establishing the clinical standards that will differentiate Anomaly Health from both conventional healthcare models and the often-fragmented wellness industry. Your expertise will guide the integration of technology, including AI and asynchronous care models, to deliver high-quality, scalable preventive care without compromising patient outcomes.
• This role demands a strategic thinker who can envision and build systems, not just manage appointments. You will collaborate closely with the Founder and CEO, providing the critical clinical voice in product development, company strategy, and client engagement. Your insights will directly influence the technology roadmap, ensuring that our digital tools and AI capabilities are clinically sound and effectively support our proactive health objectives. You will be a key player in translating complex medical knowledge into scalable, user-friendly solutions that empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being.
• Key responsibilities will include developing and refining our core clinical methodologies, ensuring they are scientifically rigorous and aligned with the latest advancements in longevity research. You will play a pivotal role in defining the patient journey, from initial assessment and data collection to ongoing monitoring and personalized intervention. This includes identifying key performance indicators for clinical success and patient satisfaction, and developing strategies to continuously improve our service delivery.
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for building and mentoring a future clinical team, setting the tone for a culture of excellence, innovation, and patient-centricity. You will contribute to the development of educational materials for both patients and clinicians, ensuring a shared understanding of our proactive health philosophy and methodologies. Your leadership will be crucial in establishing Anomaly Health as a trusted authority in the longevity medicine space.

You will have the autonomy to design protocols and care models from scratch, leveraging your extensive clinical experience and forward-thinking approach. • You will be the clinical conscience of the company, ensuring that every aspect of our platform, from the user interface to the underlying algorithms, is grounded in sound medical principles. This includes staying abreast of emerging research in genetics, epigenetics, microbiome science, and other fields relevant to longevity and translating these findings into actionable clinical strategies. Your role will be multifaceted, encompassing clinical leadership, product development input, strategic advisory, and potentially direct patient interaction in the early stages.
• The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of how technology can augment and scale clinical care, moving beyond traditional brick-and-mortar models. You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience, ensuring it is seamless, engaging, and effective in driving long-term health behaviors. 🎯 Requirements

• MD or DO with active state licensure in New York; board certification in a relevant medical specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Functional Medicine) is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience, with a focus on internal, family, or functional medicine.
• Demonstrated experience thinking in systems, with a strong understanding of clinical protocols, care pathway development, and population health principles.
• Prior experience in digital health, health tech, or building a business where technology is a core operational layer is highly desirable.
• Proven track record as a builder or innovator, with experience in designing, developing, or advising on initiatives outside of traditional clinical practice; a growth mindset and comfort with pushing boundaries are essential.
