📋 Description

• As a Staff Software Engineer at Omnidian, you will serve as a technical visionary and strategic leader within the Engineering organization, driving the evolution of the Asset Management Lifecycle domain to ensure scalable, innovative solutions for solar asset tracking and optimization.
• You will act as the primary technical architect and strategist, reporting to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering, and will coordinate technical excellence across multiple workstreams to advance how solar assets are onboarded, monitored, and managed throughout their lifecycle.
• Omnidian is a fast-growing Series C tech-enabled service company revolutionizing performance assurance for distributed solar and energy storage, with a mission to build a sustainable future through innovative technology and exceptional customer experience, now expanding globally with a potential talent hub in Costa Rica.
• You will have the opportunity to shape the technical direction of a critical platform domain, introduce transformative technologies, and lead cross-functional initiatives that directly impact the scalability and reliability of Omnidian’s IoT-enabled solar asset management system.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in software architecture and system design, with proven experience leading technical strategy for complex, distributed systems.
• Strong background in full-stack or backend engineering, with proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to scalable web platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence engineering teams across multiple workstreams without direct authority, fostering technical excellence and alignment.
• Experience working in fast-growing, mission-driven tech environments, preferably in IoT, clean energy, or SaaS domains.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of translating technical vision into actionable roadmaps for stakeholders.
