- • Own and drive Harvey’s product-led growth (PLG) strategy across the entire user lifecycle — acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and expansion — for AI-powered legal and professional services platforms.
- • Build and execute a rigorous experimentation program using A/B tests and data-driven hypotheses to optimize key growth metrics including activation rate, time-to-value, feature adoption, and expansion revenue.
- • Partner with Engineering and Design to ship growth-focused product features such as onboarding flows, in-product nudges, self-serve capabilities, and viral loops at a high velocity.
- • Collaborate with Marketing teams (Demand Gen, Lifecycle, Performance Marketing) to align top-of-funnel acquisition efforts with in-product activation and conversion pathways.
- • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to identify product-driven expansion opportunities, reduce friction in enterprise adoption, and inform upsell and cross-sell strategies.
- • Define, instrument, and monitor growth KPIs; build and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to provide clear visibility into product-led growth performance across global user segments.
- • Inform pricing, packaging, and self-serve strategy in partnership with GTM leadership to maximize conversion and revenue potential.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation and data-informed decision-making across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- • Serve as the first dedicated growth product hire at Harvey, shaping the foundational systems and processes that will scale the company’s growth engine globally.
- • Translate deep customer insights from law firms, in-house legal teams, and professional services organizations into actionable product initiatives that accelerate adoption and retention.
- • Leverage product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar) and SQL to extract insights, build data narratives, and drive strategic decisions with measurable impact.
- • Operate with intensity and ownership in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, embracing ambiguity and moving quickly with limited information while maintaining high standards.
- • Align all growth initiatives with Harvey’s core values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job’s Not Finished — prioritizing clear judgment over perfect information, simplicity as the path to scale, and relentless pursuit of improvement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on growth, product-led growth (PLG), or growth engineering at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
- • Proven track record of driving measurable growth outcomes through shipped experiments and features that moved key business metrics (activation, retention, expansion, revenue).
- • Deep fluency in growth analytics: comfortable with SQL, product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar), and building data narratives that drive decisions.
- • Strong product sense — ability to identify high-leverage opportunities, scope MVPs, and ship quickly without sacrificing quality.
- • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with experience partnering across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
- • Startup or high-growth experience — thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and is comfortable building from zero.
