• • As the inaugural Product Manager at Finch, you will work in close collaboration with the founding team, as well as our talented engineering, design, and operations departments. Your role will be instrumental in shaping our product strategy, determining what we build, what we defer, and the optimal sequence of development as we scale our operations. • • Defining and continuously refining the core workflows that underpin our internal case management tools. This will empower our legal operations team to work with greater speed, efficiency, and confidence, enabling them to manage a higher volume of cases effectively.
• • Shaping the user-facing surfaces designed for our law firm partners. These interfaces will provide them with essential visibility, robust control, and unwavering trust in the management and progression of their cases handled through the Finch platform.
• • Taking ownership of client-facing product decisions. Your work will focus on making the often complex and daunting legal process more transparent, predictable, and user-friendly for individuals seeking legal assistance.
• • Setting the overarching product direction for how Finch integrates and presents itself across our entire platform. This ensures a consistent, high-quality user experience as we expand our offerings and reach.
• • Guiding the strategic development of our nascent AI-powered features. A primary focus will be on ensuring these features deliver tangible usefulness, maintain high reliability, and provide demonstrable real-world impact for our users and partners.
• • Beyond these specific product areas, you will play a vital role in establishing the foundational principles and processes of product management at Finch. This includes defining our methodologies for prioritizing work, making critical tradeoffs, establishing key metrics for measuring success, and fostering seamless collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams. You will be instrumental in building the product function from the ground up.
• • We are seeking individuals who possess a minimum of 5 years of experience leading product initiatives within high-velocity, fast-paced organizations. Prior responsibility for defining product roadmaps and execution in an early-stage or rapidly evolving company is essential. The ideal candidate is comfortable and adept at being the primary product voice in discussions, capable of setting strategic direction from inception. You should have a proven ability to dissect ambiguous, high-stakes challenges and distill them into focused, impactful product bets. Furthermore, you must demonstrate the capacity to build trust and strong working relationships with engineering teams through clear articulation of vision, meticulous planning, and consistent follow-through.
