  • • As the Founding Recruiter at Flagright Inc., you will establish the recruitment function from the ground up, playing a pivotal role in scaling a high-growth AI-driven financial crime compliance platform used by Fortune 500 companies, global banks, and fast-scaling fintechs. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to attract world-class talent across functions, ensuring Flagright maintains its competitive edge in a mission-critical industry.
  • • You will lead end-to-end recruitment for technical, GTM, and leadership roles, partnering closely with executives to define hiring strategies, build talent pipelines, and drive hiring outcomes that align with Flagright’s aggressive growth trajectory. This is a player-coach role where you will not only source and close top talent but also mentor and scale a future recruitment team, setting the standard for excellence in candidate experience and hiring rigor.
  • • You will operate within a lean, high-performance culture that values ownership, urgency, and merit-based decision-making, reporting directly to the CEO and working alongside alumni from Y Combinator, AWS, and Palantir. Your success will be measured by your ability to hire exceptional people quickly and consistently while maintaining a world-class candidate journey across multiple jurisdictions.
  • • Day to day, you will: lead full-cycle recruitment for roles across engineering, sales, product, and operations; proactively source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, networks, and targeted outreach; partner with hiring managers to refine role requirements and assess cultural and technical fit; manage candidate pipelines using ATS tools (with preference for Ashby experience); track and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize time-to-hire, offer acceptance rates, and source effectiveness; coach and mentor junior recruiters or hiring managers on best practices in interviewing, assessment, and candidate communication; ensure compliance with UK hiring regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive candidate and company data; continuously improve recruitment processes by implementing structured interview scorecards, feedback loops, and data-driven refinements; represent Flagright at industry events, university campuses, and talent communities to strengthen employer branding; and collaborate with leadership to forecast hiring needs and build scalable talent strategies for global expansion.
