- • As the Founding Recruiter at Flagright Inc., you will establish the recruitment function from the ground up, playing a pivotal role in scaling a high-growth AI-driven financial crime compliance platform used by Fortune 500 companies, major banks, and fast-scaling fintechs worldwide. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to attract world-class talent across functions, ensuring Flagright maintains its competitive edge in innovation and execution while operating with high ownership, urgency, and minimal bureaucracy.
- • You will lead end-to-end recruitment for technical, GTM, and leadership roles, partnering closely with executives to define hiring needs, build talent pipelines, and drive full-cycle hiring processes—from sourcing and outreach to offer negotiation and onboarding—while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience across multiple jurisdictions and maintaining rigorous hiring standards.
- • You will coach and mentor a growing recruitment team, establishing best practices, optimizing workflows using AI tools and analytics, setting high benchmarks for process efficiency and candidate experience, and fostering a culture of ownership, resourcefulness, and continuous improvement aligned with Flagright’s high-performance values.
- • You will partner with leadership to shape strategic hiring plans, track and analyze key recruitment metrics, maintain healthy talent pipelines, and continuously refine sourcing strategies—particularly for GTM, sales, technical, and leadership talent—to support rapid, sustainable scaling in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- • You will operate as a player/coach in a lean, high-ownership team with direct access to the CEO, contributing to a low-bureaucracy, asynchronous work culture where initiative, clarity of communication, and comfort with change are essential, and where your efforts will directly influence how Flagright builds and scales its global team.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in scaling recruitment in high-growth tech environments, gain hands-on experience with AI-powered recruiting tools, refine your ability to assess and attract elite talent across functions, and grow as a strategic HR leader by influencing hiring strategy at the executive level—all while building a recruitment function that becomes a competitive advantage for a Y Combinator-backed startup fighting financial crime at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, including proven leadership and mentoring experience in building and guiding recruitment teams
- • Demonstrated success hiring GTM and sales talent (e.g., Account Executives, Business Development Representatives) in high-growth or startup environments
- • Experience using AI tools to automate recruitment workflows and improve efficiency, with comfort using ATS platforms and recruitment analytics
- • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, engagement, assessment, offer management, and onboarding across multiple jurisdictions
- • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area with legal right to work in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available for this fully in-person role in Santa Clara
