📋 Description

• As an FP&A Consultant at Epicor Software Corporation, you will play a critical role in helping clients optimize their financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes through expert consulting on Epicor’s financial systems. Your work directly enables businesses to make data-driven decisions, improve financial visibility, and enhance operational agility—contributing to Epicor’s mission of building a more resilient global supply chain through intelligent ERP solutions.
• Day to day, you will: lead customer-facing consulting engagements focused on financial systems implementation and optimization; analyze financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and trial balances to assess client needs; design and configure budgeting and forecasting processes within Epicor’s financial modules; develop Excel-based financial models, reports, and dashboards to support client analysis; translate complex accounting and finance principles into actionable system configurations; facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate client finance teams on new processes and tools; manage project scope, timelines, and customer expectations throughout the engagement lifecycle; provide post-implementation support and mentoring to ensure sustainable adoption of financial solutions; collaborate with cross-functional teams including implementation consultants, product specialists, and client stakeholders; and continuously refine your expertise in financial systems consulting through hands-on experience with diverse industry clients.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Management Accounting, or Financial Systems Consulting
• Hands-on experience delivering customer-facing consulting engagements, preferably in Professional Services or implementation consulting
• Proven experience working with financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Trial Balance) and budgeting/forecasting processes
• Strong proficiency in Excel-based financial analysis and reporting; experience with Excel add-ins is a plus
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles with the ability to translate financial concepts into system configurations
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to lead training and mentoring sessions
• Demonstrated ability to manage scope, customer expectations, and work independently in client-facing environments
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills with a proactive and partner-oriented mindset
