- • As FP&A Manager at 9amHealth, you will own the full financial planning and analysis function end-to-end, driving strategic decisions that support the scaling of an AI-enabled virtual specialty care platform focused on chronic disease management.
- • You will own the monthly variance pack, build and maintain driver-based models, partner with department heads to translate business plans into budgets, own the long-range plan and rolling forecast, build the monthly board narrative, drive the 2026 budget cycle, build the operational FP&A toolkit, and champion AI-enabled FP&A workflows using tools like Claude and AI-native features in the finance stack.
- • You will join a lean Finance team that punches well above its weight, reporting to the Director of FP&A and partnering daily with Customer Success, Clinical Operations, Marketing, Sales, and the executive team to drive decisions that matter in a fast-growing startup applying AI to financial work.
- • You will have the opportunity to deploy serious financial horsepower at a high-leverage moment as the company builds its 2026 plan and accelerates into the next phase, shaping what AI-augmented FP&A looks like while making a meaningful impact on chronic disease management and patient outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8 years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally at a high-growth healthcare, SaaS, or subscription company
- • End-to-end ownership of a budget cycle, board pack, and rolling forecast
- • Expert-level driver-based modeling with ability to build a clean three-statement model from scratch in Excel
- • Modern FP&A platform fluency (e.g., Abacum, Pigment, Mosaic, Anaplan, Cube) with comfort owning model design
- • Strong business partnering instincts to have candid commercial conversations with non-finance leaders
- • Fluency in unit economics including ARR/ARPM/CAC/LTV/payback/cohort retention, with bonus for healthcare member economics translation
- • Genuine AI fluency using tools like Claude or ChatGPT daily to accelerate modeling, generate commentary, and build automations
- • Data fluency with hands-on comfort in BI tools like Looker/Tableau to pull own data when needed
- • Crisp written and visual communication skills where slides and memos tell a story and tables answer questions before they are asked
- • Player-coach instincts: able to roll up sleeves on modeling while thinking two quarters ahead
