- • As an FP&A Pre-Sales Solutions Architect at Cube Software Inc., you will be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionize how companies manage their financial planning and analysis. You will serve as a critical advisor to prospective customers, guiding them through their evaluation journey and demonstrating the transformative power of Cube's cloud-based FP&A platform. Your expertise will bridge the gap between complex financial challenges and elegant technological solutions, directly contributing to the expansion of Cube's product reach and the company's overall growth trajectory.
- • This role is a dynamic blend of deep financial acumen, technical proficiency, and consultative sales skills, specifically tailored to the implementation of sophisticated business software applications. You will report directly to the Head of Solutions Consulting, collaborating closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure a seamless and impactful customer experience. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping how businesses approach their financial planning, moving them away from cumbersome spreadsheet-dependent processes towards a more efficient, insightful, and scalable future.
- • A core responsibility will be to engage prospective clients in meaningful discovery sessions. You will meticulously uncover their existing pain points, operational bottlenecks, and strategic objectives related to financial planning and analysis. By deeply understanding their unique business context, you will then craft and deliver customized demonstrations of the Cube platform, showcasing precisely how its features and functionalities address their specific needs and deliver tangible business value.
- • You will partner strategically with the Sales Team, acting as a subject matter expert to inform sales strategies and provide tailored solution recommendations. This collaborative approach ensures that we are not just selling a product, but offering a comprehensive solution that aligns with the customer's long-term financial vision. Your ability to lead both functional and technical sales discussions will be paramount in articulating Cube's value proposition and establishing credibility with key stakeholders.
- • Presenting industry and domain-specific expertise will be a key facet of your role. You will confidently articulate how Cube's capabilities translate into measurable benefits for businesses across various sectors, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial planning best practices and common industry challenges. This thought leadership will build trust and position Cube as an indispensable partner.
- • To further solidify the value proposition, you will develop and present compelling proof-of-concept models. These hands-on demonstrations will allow prospective customers to visualize their own data within the Cube platform, providing a tangible and personalized experience of the solution's power and flexibility. This will enable them to see firsthand how Cube can streamline their processes, enhance accuracy, and provide deeper insights.
- • You will be responsible for clearly articulating the business benefits and the quantifiable value that the Cube platform brings to an organization. This includes highlighting improvements in efficiency, accuracy, decision-making speed, and overall financial performance. Your communication will focus on the return on investment and the strategic advantages gained by adopting Cube.
- • A crucial aspect of this role involves acting as a liaison between prospective customers and our Product Development team. You will gather, synthesize, and relay feedback on platform requirements, feature requests, and potential enhancements. This feedback loop is vital for ensuring that Cube continues to evolve and meet the ever-changing needs of the market, directly influencing the product roadmap.
- • You will be expected to maintain a high level of proficiency in financial modeling and business analysis, leveraging your expertise to build sophisticated models that showcase Cube's capabilities. A strong command of Excel, including advanced modeling, reporting, and data analysis techniques with sophisticated formatting, is essential for creating impactful demonstrations and proofs of concept.
- • Effective communication, particularly in a remote or hybrid setting, is critical. You will regularly present ideas, conduct demos, and engage in discussions with both internal teams and external clients via video conferencing, requiring clarity, confidence, and engaging presentation skills.
- • The ideal candidate thrives in an environment that values both meticulous attention to detail and the agility to adapt to evolving project needs and client demands. You will be comfortable navigating the complexities of financial software implementation while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality, impactful work.
- • Resourcefulness, adaptability, and resilience are key attributes. You will be adept at working autonomously on a high volume of diverse projects, skillfully utilizing a range of tools and resources to achieve objectives and overcome challenges. Your proactive approach will ensure that customer evaluations proceed smoothly and successfully.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact Cube's growth by directly influencing sales outcomes and shaping customer perceptions of our innovative FP&A solution. You will be a key player in helping businesses achieve their financial goals through the power of technology.
