📋 Description
- • Design and implement group-wide reporting standards and planning frameworks, including reporting hierarchies and budget/forecast cadence, with a focus on identifying automation and process improvement opportunities.
- • Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver timely financial insights, KPI tracking, and business cases, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable language for non-finance stakeholders.
- • Support and streamline the monthly financial close cycle by collaborating with the finance team to enhance speed, accuracy, and structure, while contributing to the development of group consolidation and management reporting systems.
- • Conduct ad-hoc strategic finance analyses, including scenario modelling and evaluation of new market opportunities or business initiatives to inform strategic decision-making.
- • Improve financial reporting workflows by leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to transform financial data into compelling, easy-to-understand insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- • Apply strong financial modeling skills to drive insights that guide operational and strategic decisions, ensuring precision and clarity in all financial outputs.
- • Contribute to the evolution of financial systems by identifying gaps in current ERP and planning tools (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan) and proposing enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability.
- • Engage with multi-currency and intercompany accounting concepts as part of group reporting, ensuring consistency and compliance across regional operations.
- • Maintain rigorous attention to detail in all financial analyses, reporting outputs, and process documentation to uphold the integrity of financial data at scale.
- • Proactively identify inefficiencies in financial processes and drive improvements that reduce manual effort, increase automation, and accelerate decision-making timelines.
- • Serve as a key financial partner to non-finance departments, bridging the gap between data and business strategy to support growth and resource allocation decisions.
- • Ensure alignment of financial planning activities with company-wide objectives, helping to translate business performance into financial metrics that inform priorities and investment decisions.
- • Continuously refine group consolidation processes to accommodate rapid scaling, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across evolving organizational structures.
- • Utilize expertise in ERP and planning platforms to standardize data inputs, validate outputs, and ensure reliability of financial forecasts and actuals across the organization.
- • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making by empowering teams with clear, timely, and relevant financial intelligence that supports strategic planning and performance tracking.
