• • Onhires Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated FPGA Developer to join our innovative team and contribute to the creation of cutting-edge hardware solutions. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and verifying complex digital circuits that form the backbone of advanced technological systems. You will be instrumental in the entire FPGA development lifecycle, from initial requirement analysis and architectural design through to synthesis, implementation, testing, and validation.
• • As an FPGA Developer, your primary responsibility will be to translate high-level system requirements into detailed, implementable FPGA specifications. This involves a deep understanding of digital logic design, state machine design, and efficient algorithm implementation within the constraints of FPGA architecture. You will be expected to craft robust and optimized designs using VHDL or Verilog, ensuring adherence to best practices in hardware description language (HDL) coding.
• • A significant part of your role will involve the practical implementation of these designs. This includes performing FPGA synthesis, place and route operations, and conducting thorough timing analysis to guarantee that designs meet performance targets. You will also focus on power optimization techniques to ensure efficient operation of the final hardware. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects, will be crucial for seamless integration of your FPGA designs into larger systems.
• • Verification and validation are critical components of this position. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive testbenches and employing simulation tools to rigorously verify the functionality of your FPGA designs. This includes functional verification, timing verification, and potentially hardware-level testing using development boards and debugging tools. Identifying and resolving hardware-related issues through systematic debugging and root cause analysis will be a key aspect of ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
