- • The Fraud Detection Representative I role at Velera is essential for safeguarding credit unions and their members by identifying and preventing fraudulent activity on credit and debit accounts, directly reducing financial losses and supporting the integrity of the payments ecosystem.
- • Day to day, the representative handles inbound and outbound calls related to fraud cases, navigates internal tools and systems to investigate suspicious activity, monitors and works complex fraud cases across accounts, multi-tasks across platforms to mitigate risk, maintains high service standards, communicates trends to management, remains composed under pressure, collaborates with team members, upholds Velera’s professional image, and participates in ongoing training to build product and procedural expertise.
