  • • As a Fraud Operations Associate at Stripe’s Mexico City office, you will play a critical role in protecting the integrity of Stripe’s financial infrastructure by identifying and mitigating fraudulent activity across merchant accounts.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include investigating accounts for signs of fraud such as card testing, account takeover, and fraudulent merchant behavior; assessing risk trends; supporting financial partner requirements; and contributing to the refinement of fraud detection strategies that balance security with user experience.
  • • You will join a mission-driven, collaborative team in Mexico City that is dedicated to increasing the GDP of the internet through innovation, inclusivity, and excellence, handling over a million support cases annually while fostering a culture where every voice is valued.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in fraud operations within a high-growth fintech environment, sharpen your analytical and investigative skills, and gain exposure to cross-functional processes that drive risk mitigation and business resilience—positioning you for growth in fraud prevention, payments security, or financial operations.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Some experience in fraud analysis, fraud investigations, or fraud operations
  • • Experience using data to make assessments or judgments
  • • A team-focused mentality and effective problem-solving skills
  • • Ability to approach challenges from a user perspective while being pragmatic and solutions-oriented
  • • Availability to work 100% in office
  • • Willingness to periodically work weekends remotely, compensated with weekday time off
