- ā¢ As a French Language Specialist (Android Device) on a freelance AI trainer project, you will engage daily with advanced language models through nuanced linguistic interactions, identifying and documenting model weaknesses in grammar, semantics, pragmatics, and cultural context to improve AI reasoning and reliability.
- ā¢ Your day-to-day responsibilities include conversing with AI models on diverse French language scenarios, verifying factual and logical accuracy, capturing reproducible error traces, and providing actionable feedback on prompt design and evaluation metrics to enhance model performance.
- ā¢ You will specialize in challenging models on complex linguistic phenomena such as dialectal variations (e.g., Quebecois, African French), formal vs. colloquial registers, orthographic nuances, translation fidelity, semantic ambiguity, and socio-pragmatic appropriateness.

- ā¢ Masterās or PhD in French language, linguistics, translation studies, or a closely related field; alternatively, demonstrated expertise through peer-reviewed publications, professional translation work, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects.
- ā¢ Native or near-native proficiency in French with exceptional command of grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, and pragmatics across formal, informal, and regional variants.
- ā¢ Access to a secure personal computer and an Android device, along with reliable high-speed internet, to conduct daily AI interaction sessions and documentation tasks.
- ā¢ Strong metacognitive and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate linguistic observations, error patterns, and reasoning behind judgmentsā"showing your work" is a core requirement.
- ā¢ Experience in linguistic annotation, prompt engineering, language model evaluation, or AI training data creation is a strong plus, though not mandatory.
