• The role centers on leveraging deep linguistic expertise to evaluate, challenge, and improve large language models by identifying and documenting failure modes in grammar, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, ensuring AI systems learn from real-world linguistic complexity.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging in structured conversations with AI models on diverse French language scenarios—such as verb conjugation, gender and number agreement, idiomatic expressions, phonetic nuances, and stylistic variation—to probe model reasoning and uncover inconsistencies.
• Specialists will verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses, capture reproducible error traces with detailed linguistic annotations, and provide actionable feedback to refine prompt engineering strategies and evaluation metrics.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in French language, linguistics, or a closely related field (e.g., Romance languages, philology, cognitive linguistics)

• Experience in linguistic analysis, teaching, translation, or research—including peer-reviewed publications, curriculum development, or hands-on projects involving language data annotation or model evaluation
