Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Join Agency Analytics Inc. as a Front-End Development Specialist and become the creative force behind high-impact, data-driven user interfaces that thousands of digital-marketing professionals rely on every day. You will own the full UI lifecycle—from pixel-perfect component design to seamless architecture integration—ensuring every chart, dashboard, and report feels lightning-fast, visually stunning, and intuitively simple.
- • Architect and build reusable, accessible, and performant React components that scale across multiple product lines. You’ll translate Figma designs and product specs into clean, semantic HTML5, modern CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, custom properties), and ES2023 JavaScript while enforcing strict TypeScript standards and maintaining 95%+ unit-test coverage with Jest & React Testing Library.
- • Optimize bundle size and runtime performance using code-splitting, tree-shaking, lazy-loading, and advanced caching strategies. You’ll routinely audit Core Web Vitals (LCP < 2.5 s, FID < 100 ms, CLS < 0.1) and implement targeted fixes that shave milliseconds off critical render paths, directly improving customer retention and SEO rankings.
- • Integrate front-end code with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, crafting resilient data layers that handle real-time analytics streams exceeding 1 M events/day. You’ll collaborate with back-end engineers to design efficient query patterns, normalize payloads, and implement optimistic UI updates that feel instantaneous even on 3G connections.
- • Champion accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) and inclusive design, conducting regular audits with axe-core and screen-reader testing to guarantee every feature is operable by keyboard alone and compatible with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. You’ll evangelize best practices across the team and mentor junior developers through pair-programming and code reviews.
- • Drive cross-functional collaboration with product managers, UX researchers, and QA analysts in agile sprints. You’ll translate complex marketing-analytics requirements into user stories, estimate effort using story points, and deliver shippable increments every two weeks while maintaining a defect escape rate below 2%.
- • Establish and maintain a living design-system library in Storybook, documenting component APIs, usage guidelines, and visual regression tests with Chromatic. Your work will reduce UI inconsistency by 80% and accelerate future feature development across five concurrent squads.
- • Continuously improve developer experience by automating linting, formatting, and CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions. You’ll set up pre-commit hooks, enforce conventional commits, and deploy to Vercel preview environments on every PR, cutting average review-to-merge time from 48 h to 4 h.
- • Monitor production health via Datadog RUM and Sentry error tracking, creating actionable alerts that reduce mean-time-to-resolution (MTTR) for front-end incidents to under 30 minutes. You’ll conduct blameless post-mortems and feed learnings back into the development cycle.
- • Contribute to technical road-mapping sessions, evaluating emerging frameworks (e.g., Svelte, SolidJS) and build tools (e.g., Vite, Turbopack) to keep the stack modern yet stable. Your strategic input will influence tooling decisions that affect 30+ engineers and a $10 M ARR product suite.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years shipping production React applications with TypeScript, including hooks, context, and advanced patterns such as render props and compound components
- • Proven ability to hand-code responsive, accessible CSS from scratch (no Bootstrap) and achieve 95+ Lighthouse performance scores on desktop and mobile
- • Experience integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs, handling authentication (JWT, OAuth2), and managing complex state with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query
- • Nice-to-have: Storybook, Chromatic, or other design-system tooling; prior remote-contractor experience; familiarity with marketing-analytics dashboards
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote, asynchronous work environment—choose your own hours and location anywhere with reliable high-speed internet
- • Competitive contractor rate up to $30/hour, with exact compensation tailored to your experience and geographic cost-of-living adjustments
- • Flexible weekly hours (minimum 20, up to 40+) that you set yourself, enabling optimal work-life balance and side-project freedom
