- • As a Front End Engineer at Komodo Health, you will play a critical role in building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that empower healthcare professionals to derive actionable insights from the Healthcare Map — the nation’s most comprehensive real-world patient data platform. Your work will directly support the company’s mission to reduce the global burden of disease by enabling smarter, data-driven decisions across the healthcare ecosystem.
- • Day to day, you will design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies, collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate complex data visualizations into seamless user experiences, write clean, testable, and reusable code, participate in code reviews, and continuously optimize performance and accessibility across devices and browsers.
- • You will join a mission-driven, innovative engineering team at Komodo Health, a fast-growing health technology company dedicated to transforming healthcare through data and AI. The team values collaboration, technical excellence, and a passion for using technology to solve real-world problems in patient care, public health, and clinical research.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- • 3+ years of professional experience building web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
- • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles, including experience with CSS-in-JS or utility-first frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Styled Components)
- • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or React Context) and asynchronous data fetching patterns
- • Familiarity with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or Rollup) and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress)
- • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with a focus on accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and performance
